Amethyst

Amethyst is a relatively new resource added to Minecraft in update 1.17, known as the “Cave and Cliff Update”. This noble stone can be found in a special biome called the Amethyst Cluster, which consists of large geodes – giant spherical formations with colorful crystals.

Players can use a diamond pickaxe to extract amethyst from the geodes. The resulting amethysts can be turned into various items and blocks, amethyst blocks for decorations and amethyst shards, which are used to create binoculars.
